2026 True North Winners! We’ve done it again!

We are thrilled to share that The Wiklém Group has won the 2026 True North Award for Multi-Family Project of the Year for our work at The St. Clair / 530 St Clair West.
Presented by NEWH Canada, the True North Awards celebrate excellence in Canadian design, recognizing the projects, people, and collaborations helping to shape our built environments. To have one of our condominium refurbishment projects recognized at this level is an incredible honour.
A Win for The St. Clair
The St. Clair is a wonderful example of what we love most about condominium refurbishment: the opportunity to reimagine existing spaces in a way that respects the building, serves the residents, and creates a renewed sense of pride in the place people call home.
For our team, successful condominium design is never just about making spaces look beautiful. It is about balancing durability, function, long-term value, budget, and the everyday experience of residents. The best projects feel elevated, but also effortless — as though the renewed spaces always belonged there.
We are so proud that The St. Clair has been recognized as this year’s Multi-Family Project of the Year.
Building on an Incredible 2025
This latest honour follows an unforgettable year for The Wiklém Group at the 2025 True North Awards, where we were proud to take home three awards:
- Best Multi-Family Project of the Year for Kingsway On-The-Park
- Best Collaboration of the Year for Kingsway On-The-Park with PAC Building Group
- The Legacy Award presented to Anita Wiklém
Seeing Anita receive the inaugural Legacy Award was especially meaningful for our team. Her creativity, leadership, and commitment to the condominium design industry have shaped not only our company, but the way we approach every client, every building, and every project.
Thank You!
Awards like this are never the work of one person. They reflect the dedication of an entire team, the trust of our clients, and the collaboration of property managers, condominium boards, contractors, trades, suppliers, and industry partners.
To the team at The St. Clair, thank you for trusting us with your building.
To NEWH Canada, thank you for continuing to shine a light on Canadian design talent and for creating a platform that celebrates the work being done in multi-family and hospitality spaces across the country.
And to our Wiklém team — thank you for bringing your talent, care, persistence, and creativity to every project we take on.
We are grateful, proud, and excited to keep building on this momentum.
Here’s to The St. Clair, to our clients and collaborators, and to many more spaces that make people feel proud to come home.
