I went all the way to Hong Kong to get excited about… light bulbs! In the fall of 2014, I attended the Hong Kong lighting Show. With thousands of exhibitors from all over the world, I was most impressed with the advancements in energy efficient LED light bulbs. New technology uses ‘yellow dots – ions’ in paste form, which is smeared over LED filaments that light up and give the look of an incandescent lamp! Click here for some samples of the LED bulb.

This will be a great help for the work we do! Now we can specify lamps that are attractive and energy efficient for light fixtures that are on 24-7, especially for our commercial projects. These lamps will be more readily available and affordable in North America as times goes on.
